Outdoor Learning

Children and adults at our school enjoy learning outside; in the school grounds, local village and woodland and as members of the National Trust in Stowe gardens. We have an outdoor classroom that allows for learning to take place whatever the weather, with hot chocolate enjoyed by all at the end of a cold day outside!  Being and learning outside helps encourage us to enjoy and appreciate our environment.  This helps us remember our school values of Love and Respect and incorporate them into how we appreciate others and where we live.

Outside Learning at Stowe Gardens ~ 23rd September 2015

Wednesday 23rd September was the Autumnal Equinox, officially the first day of the autumn season and we had some beautiful September sunshine for our trip to Stowe.  It was a great relief after all the rain and the children had a wonderful day exploring the grounds, using their maths, science and drama skills and creating some beautiful natural masterpieces.  Look out for a display of our day out in the main corridor of school ~ coming soon!
